Boat Driver
Baba grew up in Makango and has mostly worked on boats for one of the local boat owners. When Mercy Project moved to Makango, Baba was one of our boat drivers almost every day we went on the lake. He has become a good friend to our staff, and his hard work earned him a full-time position as a driver for Mercy Project in 2017. Our drivers are a key component of identifying trafficked children and building trust with communities. Baba has a wife, Sayida, and three children.
